Setup Computer as Wireless AP for internet access in Win7

Hi

So you have a computer with a Internet connection (Lan or USB) and a Wireless Network Adaptor and you want a second computer to connect to the internet using using the same internet connection.

We to be honest the best method would be to purchase a Wireless Router with a lan or usb internet connection. Yet if for some reason you cannot set this up here is how you can setup your Wireless Nic to share internet.

IMPORTANT: This configuration changes your Wireless network adaptor to a Static IP. Which will create a problem if you try and connect to other wireless device while this configuration is still active.

Note instructions are based on Win7 Pro.

1. Click start
2. Control panel
3. Network and sharing center
4. Change Adaptor Settings
5. Locate your Internet connection (Local Area Connection, USB connect or maybe a PPOE Dialup.)
6. Right click this connection and select Properties
