Stop Microsoft Word autocorrecting ACN to CAN

If you type ACN and abbreviation for Australian Company Number in Word, you will notice the annoying habit of autocorrect replacing this with CAN, requiring you to backspace and edit the text again.

In order to stop this follow these instructions

• Under File menu open options
• Go to proofing
• Autocorrect
• Replace text as you type
• Find acn, highlight and delete it
